Instead, pet owners can travel about 2 miles north to Del Mar North Beach (Dog Beach), which allows off-leash play from the day after Labor Day through June 15, and offers early-morning off-leash hours (dawn to 8:00 AM) during the summer season. For closer options, guests may use the hotel’s on-site grassy relief area or enjoy a 1-mile leashed walk at nearby Crest Canyon Open Space Park. Additional regional options include San Dieguito River Park for scenic, leashed trails and Torrey Highlands Dog Park, a fenced one-acre area for off-leash activity.
