The Historic Mardi Gras Inn (Olde Town Inn) offers a charming and quieter setting in the Marigny near Frenchmen Street, featuring a secure gated courtyard. It is a generally pet-friendly environment, though owners should remain mindful of New Orleans’ hot and variable climate, as well as the lively surroundings that require leash use and caution when walking pets at night. Several pet-friendly outdoor options are close by, including Cabrini Playground, which is less than a mile away and convenient for quick walks. The inn’s pet policy allows one dog up to 25 lbs with a $35 per day fee and a $100 refundable deposit. Pets must be checked in by staff for designated pet-friendly rooms, and they cannot be left unattended.

Note: When walking your pet, it is the owner’s responsibility to pick up after their pet. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside of their room.
